Tour #1 - Tour Around Town

Enjoy a little bit of everything with this Tour of Florenceville-Bristol.  Whether you're looking for a little arts, culture, heritage, outdoor adventure, or a visit to the market, this tour has something for everyone!

  • Potato World:  Learn the history and importance of the potato to our Town and surrounding community, plus sample some crispy French Fries.

  • Hunter Brothers Farm Market:  Pick up some fresh veggies for supper.

  • Andrew and Laura McCain Art Gallery:  ALMAG bring different artists' work to the gallery throughout the year.  Enjoy the latest exhibit and learn more about their creative process.

  • Shogomoc Railway Site:  The railway system was removed from this part of the province several years ago, but we still have three historic train cars on site as well as the station.

  • Shiktehawk Trail:  Take the family for a walk along this picturesque walking trail that meanders through the woods and streams.

Tour #3 - Arts and Culture

Florenceville-Bristol is known as the Arts and Culture hub in the Saint John River Valley.  Here is a sample of what we have to offer:

  • Andrew & Laura McCain Library:  Conveniently located in the downtown and offers accessibility for anyone with mobility concerns.

  • Andrew and Laura McCain Art Gallery:  ALMAG bring different artist's work to the gallery throughout the year.  Enjoy the latest exhibit and learn more about their creative process.

  • On the Boardwalk Café & Wine:  Fresh ingredients and a divine bakery combine to make any meal memorable. Call 506-595-0120 for reservations.

  • Shogomoc Railway Site:  The railway system was removed from this part of the province several years ago, but we still have three historic train cars on site as well as the station.

  • Second Wind Music Centre:  A unique venue for musical entertainment.

Tour #4 - Outdoor and Adventure

We've got lots of ideas to get you out and about!

  • NB Trail:  We are fortunate to have this trail going from one end of our town to the other.  A great walking or bicycling trail and it is handy to everything!

  • Shiktehawk Walking Trail:  Take the family for a walk along this picturesque walking trail that meanders through the woods and streams.

  • Muddy Boots Outdoor Learning Centre:  The site was recognized as a Wetland Centre of Excellence in September 2019.

  • Boat Launch:  If you're looking for a place to put your kayak or canoe into the Saint John River, you'll find it behind the Shogomoc Railway Site.

  • Sam's Park:  Whether you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy a picnic lunch, or want to try your hand at the 3-hole golf course, this little gem is a beautiful spot to get away from the daily grind.

  • Sam's Park:  Whether you're looking to take a stroll through “The Enchanted Forest” walking trail, relax by the fish pond and or even try your hand at the 3-hole golf course (must bring your own equipment), this little park has it all!
